K&N offers the 69-8620TTK high-flow performance air intake system for owners of 2012 and 2013 Toyota Camry 2.5 liter models that are looking for a little more performance. The 69-8620TTK performance air intake system's metal intake tube has a durable black powder coated finish, making it easy to clean and look great under the hood. In addition, the air intake tube was engineered to work with your Camry's stock mass air sensor and computer by using a mass air sensor adapter that is specific to your 2012 to 2016 Toyota Camry. Two-time Lucas Oil Modified Series Champion Jim Mardis and his dirt modified race car
Kicking off its seventh year in style, the Lucas Oil Modified Series proudly announced the addition of K&N Filters to its growing list of partners. Since then, the Lucas Oil Modified Series has seen its fair share of action and excitement.
Currently, the nine-race schedule is six races deep with the Lucas Oil I-10 Speedway in Blythe, California, the Havasu 95 Speedway in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, and The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway remaining. Right now, Chris Gerchman is gunning towards the championship, but Jim Mardis is close on Gerchman's heels and will try to close the gap during these final three races. The task at hand isn't an easy one for Mardis as Gerchman recently added 10 points to his lead at the Irwindale Events Center this past August 17th.
Mardis, the series' only two-time champion, drives an STR Chevrolet with engines built by Dave Arce and sponsored by Bluewater Technologies, JAM Sportswear, K&N Filters and Premier Wraps.

Greg Scheidecker, the series co-founder and promoter, stated, "[K&N] chose two-time champion, Jimmy Mardis, to carry the K&N colors this season, and we know Jimmy will do everything possible to make K&N's return a success."
The current points leader and looking to win his first championship, Gerchman drives an STR Chevrolet with engines built by his father, Larry Gerchman, and sponsored by Peggy's Sunrise Café, G-n-G Automotive and Sign Source. Peggy is Chris's mother and G-n-G is a family business.
"We've had opportunities to win a championship in the series, but we came up short," Gerchman told Mike Adaskaveg of Speedway Illustrated magazine. "We're running smart this year. We've stepped up the maintenance. It is absolutely a goal to win the championship."

Young drivers wait for a phone call. One call. That call, the call that changes the future of their racing career. Earlier this year, Kyle Denmyer received that call.
Chris Hiser called the successful dirt kart racer and offered Denmyer his first big break, a ride in a 358 Sprint Car at the legendary Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania.
Kyle Denmyer has experienced five wins in twelve starts in Kart racing.
"It has been my biggest dream and goal for as long as I can remember (to drive a Sprint Car)," Denmyer said. "For it to finally come true is just indescribable."
Denmyer was off to another strong start in his kart when the call came to jump in Hiser's 358 Sprint Car.
"When all of this took place, it kind of threw a curveball at me so I haven't raced as much as I'd like," Denmyer said. "My team and I have been doing a lot of testing just trying to get comfortable with the car and get me some seat time. But the kart races I have run have been very successful, with five wins in twelve starts."
Denmyer has had a lot to learn at Lincoln Speedway. An incredibly fast dirt track that is famous for eating racecars, Denmyer fell victim last month when he suffered his first major crash in a Sprint Car. Thankfully, he was all right, and there was someone willing to pick his team back up.

"That was one of the hardest moments for not only me but my team, who works so hard to keep the car going," Denmyer said. "But it wasn't a day later and I got a call from my car owner telling me that we have a sponsor, Allied Well Drilling, to put a new car in the shop.
"That lifted my spirits right up, knowing that I have such good sponsors willing to keep me going."
The wreck put Denmyer's season in perspective, allowing him to refocus his goals for the rest of the season and concentrate on building experience towards next season.
Denmyer said he would be willing to take on more racing if the opportunity presented itself, all in the hopes of gaining even more of the ever-important seat time.

"I really don't have too high of goals for the rest of the season," Denmyer said. "I just want to continue getting comfortable with the car and the way you drive it because it's all new to me and my crew.
"Eventually I want to be hitting it hard and taking K&N Filters and Chris Hiser Motorsports to victory lane as much as possible."
Denmyer is currently attending Hartford Tech, where he is studying welding, something that can be very useful when working on his own racing machines. He has two years left in school and then hopes to make a living behind the wheel.
As with any competitive racing team, Denmyer has a loyal and strong group of supporters behind him, and K&N Filters is one of those companies.
"I have to give it to K&N's air filter, it keeps my Jim Bowen 358 engine running at the top level," Denmyer said about his Sprint Car. "With running on dirt all the time, we are very hard on filters, but K&N is definitely by far the only filter that will hold up to the abuse we put it through and keeps us running strong."

It's the last few minutes of SEMA, and the rush to pack and leave has begun. Vendors start tearing down their displays, security guards escort buyers and dealers toward the exit and thousands of people start their journey home. K&N however, had a different destination; the Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational in Pahrump Nevada. K&N, Royal Purple, OPTIMA Batteries, and many other vendors joined with hundreds of race-enthusiasts to make the 54-mile trip to Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch.

Over 50 of SEMA's top cars were included in several races at the OPTIMA Ultimate Street Car Invitational (OUSCI) Presented by Royal Purple and K&N Engineering, and hosted by SPEED Channel.
During SEMA, Optima Batteries Coordinated a meeting to reveal and congratulate the 50 winners that would compete in the race. Television personalities Amanda Salas and Bill Goldberg were handing out awards, along with many of the Optima Batteries Staff. The conclusion of the meeting came with a "See you all on Saturday!"
Mike Ryan excited the crowd at the OPTIMA Ultimate Street Car Invitational when he brought out his 2,500 horsepower Freightliner big rig.
The main race events of the OPTIMA Ultimate Street Car Invitational took place Saturday, November 3, with the BFGoodrich Hot Lap Challenge, Ridetech Autocross Challenge, Wilwood Disc Brakes Speed Stop Challenge, and the Lingenfelter Performance Engineering Performance and Design Challenge. The Detroit Speed and Engineering/JRI Shocks Road Rally occurred following the close of the SEMA Show Friday, November 2.

Mark Stielow and his 1967 Chevy Camaro received 1st place in overall points, making this his second OPTIMA Ultimate Street Car Invitational title to date. Close behind was Brian Hobaugh with his 1973 Chevy Camaro. Stielow received an overall total of 83 points while Hobaugh trailed closely with 82.
More than half of the participants of the OPTIMA Ultimate Street Car Invitational (OUSCI) had a K&N air filter installed on their race car. Optima Batteries, Royal Purple and K&N banners could be seen in the track background, with hundreds of attendees stopping by to get their share of free gear. At one point, after the race had ended, five Classic 1968-1972 Chevy Pickups were seen lined up in front of the K&N Truck and trailer with some of Optima Batteries' Girls standing next to each vehicle for an amazing photo shoot!

Dylan Kwasniewski wins the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East race at Greenville Pickens Speedway
Dylan Kwasniewski took a page from the fable "The Tortoise and the Hare" to win the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East race at Greenville Pickens Speedway in South Carolina. Patience and endurance proved to be the winning formula in the Kevin Whitaker Chevrolet 140. Kwasniewski fell back early in the race and waited for the right moment to make his move to the front. His steady pace gave him a definite advantage in the closing laps of the race.

He took the lead on lap 108 at Greenville Pickens Speedway, after falling back as far as ninth early in the race, and outpaced the field by more than 2.5 seconds to win his fifth race of the season. He also padded his lead in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East standings.
"We had to drop back a little bit to make sure we had something at the end," said Kwasniewski, driver of the No. 98 Chevrolet for Turner Scott Motorsports. "That's what you got to do. We didn't want to fall back too much to where we would be in a bad spot to go back up. This car was awesome."

Dylan Kwasniewski won the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West championship in 2012 and is looking to become the first driver to win the West and East Series championships in consecutive years.
He won the pole and led the first two laps of the race at Greenville Pickens Speedway. Daniel Suarez took the lead from Kwasniewski on lap 3 and held for 65 laps. Suarez led the most laps, but he struggled in the final laps of the race.

Suarez said he was anticipating a late caution flag in the race at Greenville Pickens Speedway. There was only one caution period, for debris from laps 59-66. Suarez finished in second place in the race.
"We were really strong, probably the same speed than Dylan in the 98," Suarez said. "He was really strong too. I think we were the same speed, but probably we wait too much. I don't know. Second place, good points for the championship. We are going to keep working on this thing to try to win another race."
Rookie Gray Gaulding posted his second strong finish in a row. He came in third place in the race at Greenville Pickens, his second top-five in a row.

"We came up with a good top five at VIR (Virginia International Raceway) and another top five here," Gaulding said. "I think we're just knocking on the door of that win. Good momentum going to New Hampshire. Can't wait to get there."
Dylan Kwasniewski leads the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East standings by 40 points over Brett Moffitt with four races remaining on the East Series schedule. Ben Kennedy is third in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East standings, 53 points behind Kwasniewski.
"Turner Scott Motorsports did a great job. We came here testing and got (the car) absolutely money," Kwasniewski said. "Every single person on this team did a fantastic job to give me a great car."
The Kevin Whitaker Chevrolet 140 will be televised on Fox Sports 1 on September 22 at noon EDT.
The next race in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East is the North American Power 100 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on September 21.
